Christmas Fair 2016

The Hungarian House of New York organised and hosted a succesful Christmas Fair at Sunday, December 11. Seventeen vendors sold their ware, mostly handcrafted goods. Books, cakes, sweets, buther’s meat, handmade decoration for Advent and Christmas, special soaps were sold.

Children were able to join to handcraft workshops.

A group of children led by Emese Szőke gave a great Christmas show to the audience, and the Voices of Joy baptist singer group presented a Christmas concert.

The American Hungarian Library – beside their book fair – organized a fundraising for the flood-damaged Árpádhon Hungarian settlement in Louisiana.
