Hungarian Citizenship Course

March 27, 2017, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Are you up to becoming a Hungarian citizen?

If your answer is yes, the New York Hungarian Library’s new Hungarian Citizenship Course is for you! Prospective citizens need to prepare for their interview and this is an easy, fun and effective way to do it.

When and where will the courses take place?

The course will run for ten weeks beginning 9th January. Classes will be held Monday evenings and last 90 minutes. A minimum of five participants are necessary for the course to run. The time of the class is flexible and will be decided by the instructor in consultation with students. The cost of the course is $399 per including materials. Location: 215 East 82nd Street, in the American Hungarian Library, on the ground floor.

What will be the content?

We’ll go through some of the topics given by the Hungarian Office of Immigration and Nationality and practice everyday dialogues. The course will be based on communicative methodology and be as interactive as possible with all students participating in the discussions.

Who is the instructor?

Our instructor is a Hungarian native from Budapest who holds a degree in Hungarian as a Second Language. She’s been teaching for years, and she is ready to meet and teach you!

Who can enroll?

Ages 16 and up. The course is not limited to only those applying for Hungarian citizenship. We recommend it for anyone who wants to learn/hone some basic Hungarian language skills and explore the Hungarian culture. That is why even after a long, hard day at work, we recommend the extra effort. As you learn about the past and the present, you will form your future.

Meetings: from March 27, 2017, Mondays, 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm
Price: $399 (including handouts and materials)
